Family Reading Night!

Don't forget Family Reading Night is THIS Thursday!  We will have TONS of tips for you to help your child learn to read!  Oh, did we mention that dinner is provided?!?!?
Parents,

Keep sending in those Box Tops, we have made $300 this year so far!  We are on our way to getting more technology in each of our classrooms!  Each Box Top you snip gives us $0.10!  It all adds up!

First Post! So this is practice!

Parents,

We have started this blog to help with communication, so check this often!  We will continue sending out the paper newsletters on Mondays, but wanted this to be an additional resource for us!  We hope this helps relay information quickly! First and foremost, we would like to welcome our newest addition to our team, Ms. Ashley Keece.  We are super thrilled she has joined the Gower family!  Your child is blessed to be in her fun, dynamic classroom!

Snacks!
Make sure you are sending snacks EVERYDAY!  We are no longer providing snacks for our classrooms.  Also, be mindful that snack is only 5 minutes, so something quick and easy would be perfect!  Examples include goldfish, teddy grahams, apple slices, or these cutie patootie butterflies :)

Homework!
We have a CUTE home project for homework this week!  We are making turkeys in disguise as well as writing "How to Cook a Turkey."  Check your child's folder for the paperwork! Be creative on making your turkey in disguise. In the past we have had some hilarious disguises ranging from Batman to Princesses!

Thanks so much!
